My name is Ethan Brooks. I’m a travel journalist and photographer based in Austin, Texas. I’ve spent over a decade covering adventure destinations, travel gear, food tourism, Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
I’ve snorkeled the reefs of Bonaire, hiked Lion’s Head in Cape Town, tested gear across Southeast Asia, driven the Blue Ridge Parkway, and eaten through the wine regions of Burgundy and the Douro Valley. Everything on this site comes from that kind of direct experience.
